Meet Dr. Brent

To me, dentistry means the ability to change the way people feel about themselves. I am able to create a new smile for them, free them from dental pain, and help them understand their oral health and its effect on their overall health.

I strive to deliver gentle, effective, timely care to each of my patients, based on their unique dental needs. Whether I am improving a patient’s self-confidence through cosmetic dentistry procedures, or restoring a patient’s ability to eat what they wish by creating a fixed or removable appliance, I know that I am making a difference in the life of someone I care about. That makes my days rewarding and I find great fulfillment in my chosen profession.

Education and Commitment to Continuing Education

I received my undergraduate degree from Angelo State University and was awarded my Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry. Each year I participate in continuing to expand my skills and knowledge through literature, our local dental society, and attending conferences through the Texas Dental Association. I know that I must stay on the forefront of new technologies, materials, and techniques in order to provide the best care for my patients.

Personal Life

I have lived in San Angelo, TX, all my life, except for a year spent in Dallas and the four years I attended dental school in Nashville. My high school sweetheart and I have been married for ten years and we have three beautiful daughters, as well as a lab. When I’m not working, you’ll find me at home with my family. And if I’m not with my family or friends, I can usually be found on the tennis courts. Other interests include fly fishing, hunting, and shooting sporting clays.

To me, being active in our community is a way to give back to an area that has given me so much, not only as a professional, but as a young man growing up here. I am on the San Angelo Young Life Committee, which is a Christian organization. My wife and I also help to host a College Young Life Bible Study group on a weekly basis.
